Course Registration¶
On course pages you have the option to enable course registration.
Course config settings¶
Registration Admin
In the Course config settings you can set up the registration admin‘s email. If this option is not set, the course owner will receive all content related to course registrations.
Course registration tab¶
Every course page has a registration tab.
If the registration tab is activated, the following options will be available:
- Thank you page title
- set the text for the thank you message for the registration form.
- Max students
- set the maximum number of students who can be registered for this course.
The course registration form¶
If you visit a course page and registration is enabled, you will see a registration link just below the title of the course. Clicking the link will open a registration form like the one below:
The form submission will fail if the student’s email is already registered into this course.
Student listing¶
If you are logged in and you have permission to manage/view registrations, visiting a course page will show you a listing of the registered students with their emails and supervisors. There are two buttons on top of the table:
- manage students
- download table
The ‘manage students’ button¶
The manage students button will open the student table in edit mode. You can edit the student’s entries and also you can set the student as “unregistered”.
The ‘download table’ button¶
The download table button will download the student table in csv format to your computer. If you double click the downloaded file, it will open your default spreadsheet application (like MS Excel, Numbers, o.a.).
