Course pages¶
Course index section¶
The course index section is holding information about the course pages as well as instructor pages of the site. It generates a schedule listing if the date of the courses is known.
Student pages¶
Courses have the same Document options as the “info documents” to which some more are added:
- course date
- course start
- course end
- enable comments
- enable registration
Student pages have the option to add some rich content like code chunks, math formulas, tables or UofT media files.
Instructor pages¶
Instructor pages are restricted documents which allow access only to users who are logged in as staff or instructors. Staff can create and edit pages, instructors are restricted only to viewing the instructor files. Obviously instructors also have access to view all the published content of the site.
Instructor pages have the same Document options as the “info documents” to which some more are added:
- link to related student page
- enable comments
Comments¶
The student and instructor pages can be set to allow comments. The option can be activated by staff in the page editing section under the “Promote” tab.
